Frequently asked questions

Is my data saved on your server?
No. Everything is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is stored.

Is a delivery challan the same as an invoice?
No. A delivery challan proves that goods have been dispatched. It does not replace an invoice. Use our Invoice Generator to create the matching invoice.

Is a delivery challan mandatory under GST?
Yes, for certain transactions — job work, supply on approval, liquid gas, exhibition goods — a delivery challan is mandatory under Rule 55 of CGST Rules.

What is the difference between a challan and an e-way bill?
A delivery challan is the paper document sent with goods. An e-way bill is an electronic document required by GST portal for movement of goods worth more than Rs. 50,000.

Can I add multiple items on one challan?
Yes. Click "Add Item" to add as many goods as needed. Each row supports description, HSN code, quantity, unit and remarks.
